FAQ'S
How do I apply?
Apply via our Security Employment page by completing the online form and attaching your resume. Please include copies of any relevant documents with your resume.
What licences or certificates do I need?
Requirements vary by role and state/territory. Typically, you’ll need:
- A current state/territory security licence (e.g., VIC Private Security Individual Licence, matching the duties (unarmed, crowd control, control room, etc.).
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
- Government Photo ID and full work rights in Australia.
Role-specific sites may also require an RSA (licensed venues), White Card (construction), Working With Children Check (schools/venues), or infection control training (health). Check the ad for exact requirements.
Can I apply without experience?
Entry-level roles are available from time to time. We look for professionalism, reliability, and strong communication. You’ll still need to hold the relevant security licence before commencing operational work.
When will I hear back about my application?
You’ll receive an acknowledgement email once you apply. Our recruitment team reviews applications on a rolling basis and contacts shortlisted candidates for a phone screen or interview. Timeframes can vary by role and location; if you haven’t heard within two weeks, you’re welcome to follow up.
Do you hire for casual, part-time, and full-time roles?
Yes. We recruit across casual, part-time, and full-time depending on what’s required. Many sites operate 24/7, so there are day, afternoon, night, weekend, and public-holiday shifts.
What checks do I need to pass?
All roles require right-to-work verification and reference checks. Depending on the site, you may also require a National Police Check, Working With Children Check, medical/drug & alcohol screening, vaccination evidence (health settings), or additional government clearances.
Do you provide uniforms and equipment?
Yes. Uniform standards vary by contract. We provide core uniform items; you may be required to supply black duty boots and a smartphone for rostering/communications. Any role-specific equipment and site access tools are provided during induction.
Can I work while studying or with restricted hours?
Many officers balance shifts with study or family commitments. Let us know your availability when you apply; we’ll try to match you with suitable rosters where possible.
Do you sponsor visas?
At this time we generally recruit candidates with current Australian work rights. If your status changes (e.g., graduate visa), you can update us and we’ll advise on eligibility.
What if my licences are expiring soon?
Please renew as early as possible. If you’re progressing through recruitment, share your renewal timeline with our team. We’ll confirm any grace periods or site-specific requirements.
